eliv | Hello, is it possible to read the output of a finished playbook into ara? (I don't think so because I didn't find anything, but maybe I have overlooked it). If "no" does anyone know a way how to "parse" or analyze the output when ara is not used (we plan to integrate Ara, but haven't yet). I try to fetch the output from the api myself with perl, but it turned out harder for me, then expected. | 09:47 |

eliv | (* we use AWX - and when a playbook is finished one can download the output as txt file) | 09:48 |

dmsimard | eliv: you can attach output to a playbook using ara_record after the fact though you need a playbook id to associate it: https://ara.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ansible-plugins-and-use-cases.html#adding-records-to-playbooks-after-their-completion | 12:14 |
eliv | dmsimard: that sounds nice on the first read. I will try it. Thanks very much, I appreciate your help | 12:46 |

eliv | unfortunately I misunderstood. just attaching the content of the output-file (putting the whole text into the task-body of the ara-playbook) is not what I thought of. I'm thinking more in the direction of "loading the data" from the awx-output into the Ara-structure (so that it's possible to navigate the "changed"/"failed"/...) | 14:15 |

dmsimard | eliv: I'm not sure I follow, I might need a drawing haha | 16:50 |
eliv | I will try, maybe I have time tomorrow :) | 17:00 |
