kata-irc-bot3<james.o.hunt> Hi @yb203166 - I can talk now if you want?08:12
kata-irc-bot3<yb203166> Sure08:15
kata-irc-bot3<yb203166> Did you have use_vsock=true set?08:16
kata-irc-bot3<james.o.hunt> I'll just check my test system...08:16
kata-irc-bot3<james.o.hunt> \o/ - it wasn't set as I was switching configs! Great - that now works which means the only remaining big issue is the missing symbol one: https://github.com/kata-containers/kata-containers/issues/69.08:21
kata-irc-bot3<yb203166> I Knew about the issue, but it never happens in my development environment. I bumped into it in ci once08:24
kata-irc-bot3<yb203166> Could you please try newer musl and cmake?08:25
kata-irc-bot3<yb203166> It looks like mislinking into glibc.08:26
kata-irc-bot3<james.o.hunt> I'll try but afaik, if we build with `cargo build --target x86_64-unknown-linux-musl --release`, we shouldn't be linking to glibc at all (only musl). The problem I think is the grpc crate which is built from C++ sources and links to libstdc++ (and glibc).08:28
kata-irc-bot3<james.o.hunt> What distro/version are you building on? Ubuntu 18.04?08:28
kata-irc-bot3<yb203166> debian unstable :slightly_smiling_face:08:30
kata-irc-bot3<yb203166> Maybe newer g++ too? :slightly_smiling_face: I don't know08:30
kata-irc-bot3<james.o.hunt> ok - thanks. I don't have a debian unstable system but will go and create one and compare to my ubuntu setup...08:34

kata-irc-bot3<james.o.hunt> @yb203166 - could you put details of compiler/rust/make/cmake versions on the issue? I'm having trouble trying to install cmake at all with unstable ;(10:51
kata-irc-bot3<yb203166> wait a minute11:15

stefanhabrtknr: The vhost-user UNIX domain socket was closed on QEMU.  This suggests that virtiofsd terminated.  Anything else in the logs?  Maybe a seccomp failure?13:31
