kata-irc-bot1<penny.zheng> Hi @jakob.naucke Now, jianyong is the ARM CI maintainer.  I'll bring the message to jianyong. Looks to me that maybe we leave stale cni0 there in baremetal ARM CI and forgot to clean it up.02:10

kata-irc-bot1<jakob.naucke> What is the preferred method for forward porting a v1 feature? More specifically, I want to bring changes of two v1 PRs of a total of 12 commits to v2, and I want to preserve commit history. I do find instructions for merging in all changes from a subdirectory from another repository (but not selective commits) using `git subtree`, and merging in specific commits from another repository (but not in a subdirectrory) using `git09:11
kata-irc-bot1rebase --interactive`. Am I left with diffing, modifying for subtree, applying and committing as another author?09:12
kata-irc-bot1<jakob.naucke> @fidencio you did something like this here, did you do it manually?09:13
fidenciokata-irc-bot1: I end up doing this manually09:22
kata-irc-bot1<fidencio> Let me reply here, using Slack :slightly_smiling_face:09:23
kata-irc-bot1<fidencio> So, I ended up doing this manually, more or less like you said. For instance, if the patch is for runtime ... I did a `git format-patch ...` , then `sed s/old_path/new_path/` , applied there and made sure it'd at least build09:24
kata-irc-bot1<jakob.naucke> I see. Thank you @fidencio! I had hoped there was a more straightforward way that I failed to find, but this seems reserved for git wizards09:31
kata-irc-bot1<fidencio> Unfortunately there's no such way. We've discussed abouit creating a tool that could do that for you, but noone actually had time to implement that :S  Do you need some help? :slightly_smiling_face:09:32
kata-irc-bot1<jakob.naucke> I think I can do this on my own, thank you :slightly_smiling_face:09:58
kata-irc-bot1<liubin0329> Hi everyone,  it seems that all CI jobs in "_Pending_ — _Build triggered_" status.10:22
kata-irc-bot1<liubin0329> But I'm not sure how to make it to run...10:25
