kata-irc-bot | <bergwolf> @efoster there are some possible fixes but it is still under discussion how to properly solve it. See https://github.com/kubernetes/enhancements/issues/1846 | 05:36 |

kata-irc-bot | <gerrit.schwerthelm> Hi there! I can't find information on this topic in the docs, thus I'd like to ask here: Is it somehow possible to virtualize again in a Kata container, like starting another VM in a Kata container? It's quite a special use-case I have, but it would be very interesting to know if something like this would theoretically be possible. Thanks! | 06:58 |
kata-irc-bot | <bergwolf> 1. You need to enable nested vt in your host kvm module 2. Ensure your guest kernel has proper kvm modules and vhost/virtio drivers compiled in 3. Launch your Kata container in privilege mode Then you have all the resources in your kata container to launch another VM. Just my 2 cents. ;) | 11:14 |
