fricklerRamereth: scas: ^^ that stack should now be working fine for Ubuntu and leave Centos untouched. IIUC you both run on centos, how do you intend to deal with the py2 EOL? just assume that RH will still patch it when necessary?14:06
Ramerethfrickler: I will look into those PR's this week and also look into py2 EOL. I know that they included py3 finally in EL7.7 but I need to see how RDO is planning on dealing with that15:03
RamerethI fully expect that once CentOS 8 is released tomorrow, RDO built on that will default to py3 and CentOS 7 may just stick to py2. But I hope they come up with an option for py3 on CentOS 715:03
fricklerRamereth: in particular I would assume that RDO on CentOS 8 will only be train or later, so it would be interesting to see what happens with older branches15:06
RamerethI'm not familiar with "train" in regards to Openstack. What is that?15:11
fricklerRamereth: the name of the upcoming release. we had Pike, Queens, Rocky, Stein and now Train. courtesy to some summits happening near a train line in denver, iiuc15:26
Ramerethoh derp15:29
RamerethI thought it was some kind of library lol15:29
Ramerethya, I would expect RDO to be using py3 for Train. But I'll do some digging around as well to find out. I have a few connections to the RDO group that I could use.15:30
