JustAFlerkin | I'm having trouble with using a single mdns/worker/etc instance with multiple nameserver pools. ns1 and ns2 work fine with normal default pool. Any domain I create in pool2 with ns3 and ns4 is reported as "not found" by the mdns process when ns3 and ns4 query it for AXFER. | 22:15 |
---|---|---|
JustAFlerkin | my pool config: https://pastebin.com/triu2aay | 22:16 |
JustAFlerkin | sanitized designate.conf https://pastebin.com/90JmYGkN | 22:20 |
JustAFlerkin | dumping the mysql query shows the designate-mdns process is always querying for zones from JUST the default pool, never the second pool. | 22:24 |
JustAFlerkin | Do I have to have separate MDNS workers for each pool? I didn't see any way to specify what pool the worker should be pulling from. | 22:25 |
JustAFlerkin | Or does the MDNS process pull it's assigned pool_id from the designate DB somehow? | 22:25 |
