opendevreviewMerged openstack/neutron master: Sanitize profile column of ml2_port_bindings table in the DB  https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/neutron/+/81141110:24
EugenMayerWhen debugging my OVN provider network setup, i seem to be able to get it working in my DC but not in my vagrant lab. The WAN interface of my controller has an ip 203.0.113.3 but i cannot ping it. I'am relatively new to OVN thus debugging with tcpdump kind of yet not works for me here. i can see that the firewall is open (at least that is iptables13:37
EugenMayerthat tells me that). Using tcpdump -i eth2 icmp on the interface in the VM does not show up any ICMP packets13:37
EugenMayerWhen i spin up a additional VM and attach it to the same network, i can ping 203.0.113.4 for example without issues. So it seems to be OVN related, but what would be the toolkit to debug that?13:38
EugenMayerWhen i look at the available switches i see https://gist.github.com/EugenMayer/caf60200dee292e80d1f48f2367a23c013:41
EugenMayeri seems like the unusual / broken part seems to be :13:53
EugenMayer    port provnet-72137d08-9c8a-4e33-83e1-a2dae9ce55d013:53
EugenMayer        type: localnet13:53
EugenMayer        addresses: ["unknown"]13:53
EugenMayerin my working DC setup, this includes the address of the interface that provides the external WAN13:53
EugenMayerbefore installing openstack, the interface is ping-able. So i guess after installing and deploying OVN this changes or the idea of mine just yet pinging the interface does simply not work14:15
