ierdemhello jeremyfreudberg,  I have checked my environment, it has not any wrong configuration. After that I inspect the journal which I sent you, it was writing that "maridb packages could not installed". Because previous version of Sahara it had used Mysql till this time and now it changed. So I removed all mysql packages from my images and I installed required mariadb packages12:52
ierdemI worked for HDP 3.0 plugin -by the way we have been using HDP 3.0 on our OSA stable/pike deployment for 2 years-, it installed successfully but for CDH it did not work. At the journal it pops up timeout errors when it tried to install cloudera yum packages12:54
toskyuh, how did you deploy HDP 3.0? We really don't have anything in the code to deploy it12:56
ierdem**It worked for HDP 3.0 plugin12:56
toskyabout cloudera, depending on the time of the day, there may be delays12:56
toskytheir mirrors aren't always fast, and definitely not from everywhere12:56
toskyregarding HDP, the last version of ambari which is supported in sahara-plugin-ambari is 2.6, which can't install HDP 2.612:58
toskydid you change the code to support the newest ambari, and recognize 3.0 as valid image tag?12:58
ierdemtosky, our team has worked about it and they have been made some changes on the code, generated configs-3.0 for HDP 3.0 and created image for it12:59
toskyoooh12:59
toskywell, if you want to contribute that one as well, we would be very happy :)12:59
ierdemIf it possible, I would like to contribute :)13:00
toskyanytime you want, we are here :)13:01
ierdemSure, thanks :). For now, my prior problem is to solve that timeout issue. I changed timeout parameter on the Sahara from 300 sec to 3000 sec but still the same. This is the journal of sahara-engine http://paste.openstack.org/show/793890/. It still says the timeout is 300 secs13:03
ierdemIs there another parameter to set timeout or sth like that?13:03
toskyiirc there may be more timeouts, and I don't remember on top of my head which one plays a role there13:06
jeremyfreudberggood morning all13:17
jeremyfreudbergierdem: i'm only aware of these https://opendev.org/openstack/sahara/src/branch/master/sahara/utils/ssh_remote.py#L6813:17
