ierdem | Hi, I am trying to generate image for ambari 3.0 on OSA stable/ussuri but I am facing that error "AttributeError: 'GuestFS' object has no attribute #openstack-sahara At the first, I thought #openstack-sahara is about libguestfs tool so I send an email to guestfs developer group and they said some commands to test libguestf, I tested and it seems | 13:35 |
---|---|---|
ierdem | OK. After that I installed 2 devstack stable/train and stable/ussuri. I did my changes, installed guestfs and I saw that guestfs works on devstack stable/train but not devstack stable/ussuri. Now I stucked on this step. Detailed error mentioned below. Do you have any idea about this? Thanks. http://paste.openstack.org/show/800789/ | 13:35 |

jeremyfreudberg | hello ierdem :) | 13:39 |
tosky | ierdem: uhm, any special reason for using an aarch64 image? | 13:39 |
tosky | unless you have an arm cluster, you want an amd64/x86_64 image | 13:40 |
tosky | we didn't change the code between train and ussuri, so which operating system do your train and ussuri deployments use? Same version of Ubuntu? Of CentOS? Which ones | 13:42 |
ierdem | No, there is not a special reason. Actually I did not realize that I am using amd64/x86_64 image. I can try it on different image, now I am downloading aarch64 imag. | 13:43 |
ierdem | We are using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS as an base OS | 13:43 |
ierdem | On devstack, it is the same Ubuntu version | 13:44 |
jeremyfreudberg | Exec format error on line 12 is related to the incorrect architecture. I wonder if the other exception will go away too when the architecture is correct. | 13:47 |
tosky | ierdem: sorry, I didn't explain it properly: you are using an aarch64 image; you should use an amd64/x86_64 one | 13:59 |
tosky | CentOS-7-aarch64-GenericCloud-2003.qcow2 is an aarch64 image, so arm 64 bit | 14:00 |
ierdem | tosky, yes I got it but I wrote it wrong. I think I have attention problem '=D btw I checked my devstack/train. I used x86_64 image, correct image but on devstack/ussuri and osa/ussuri I used wrong image. I know which OS to use but I did not pay attention when I download.. and I am struggling this for 4 days. Anyway, I hope it works | 14:04 |
ierdem | and yes, it is working now.. Thanks a lot tosky | 14:05 |
