| mattoliverau | ignazio: yup this is normal. In a large geographic cluster you don't want a simple network blip to cause a ton of data movement. Or during an upgrade (when you take down 1 node). The node wont respond so the proxy will redirect to a handoff location to keep durability. There are some smarts that a proxy will be track for a period of time back nodes so it may not always go to a bad node. | 06:37 |
