Since IRC is the best documentation platform, what I did to get this to run on 18.04: You can still find a readily available installer as python3-pip_18.1-5_all.deb - extracting with ar -x , the structure is /usr/lib/python3 instead of /usr/lib/python3.6 that's with normal apt version -- manually replacing the files and as an extra step I commented the call in i | 06:01 |
