KSR | Hi. I'm helping a customer using openstack ussuri. They have some computenodes with 192 vCPUs and 1024GB RAM, on which they spawn 1 instance with 192 vCPUs and 1000 GB memory, leaving 24 GB for the OS etc. - not the best usage of virtualization.. The issue is that the instans is being killed by the OOM killer. I can probably fix it with a larger swap, but does anyone in here have any experience with how much memory should be left for overhead | 07:14 |
