| frct1 | Hello, recently i've switched from the L2 topology (handled by ARP with it's culprits) to the L3 (fully routed setup with ovn-bgp-agent + FRR). I'm quite not sure about handling routing on the hypervisor as it is introduces some unwanted IRQ. Is there any way to offload routing except deploying additional OVN cluster per each node? I've seen ongoing WIP patches for BGP plugin for OVN, but probably it is only a solid replacement for ovn-bgp-agent. | 16:05 |
| frct1 | AFAIK NIC offload won't work since interface is not attached to OvS and traffic routed to br-ex via hypervisors kernel routing (like /32 nexthop br-ex). | 16:06 |
