memem_I am looking to set up an OpenStack installation on a host to study for the RH certification. I've tried using the tripleo-quickstart on CentOS 7 (for compatibility reasons), but it hasn't worked due to unreachable repositories and other issues. Does anyone have updated instructions or documentation to help with this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!13:03
amoralejmemem_, centos7 and centos8 are not longer available13:19
amoralejif you want something old, you may find in the centos vault https://vault.centos.org/centos/7/cloud/x86_64/ but we haven't test that for long time13:20
memem_i used centos because in the documentation of the package tripleo-quickstart i found a mention to centos7 as requirement13:21
amoralejtripleo did support up to centos9 in their latest releases13:21
memem_I can install an updated distro without any problem13:21
amoralejprobably the last repo that you may try is zed on centos913:22
amoralejsaid that, tripleo stoppeed upstream development and testing time ago, so i'm not sure if that will work smooth13:23
memem_i'm following this docs https://docs.openstack.org/tripleo-quickstart/latest/ and i'm using as code repo https://github.com/openstack-archive/tripleo-quickstart (HEAD^1)13:24
memem_if you look at the playbook you should find a lots of reference to centos713:25
memem_probably i'm using a wrong strategy13:26
memem_yes, i know that the development has stopped, i'm tring to deploy this enviroment for the RH certification (is based on tripleo) 13:27
amoralejyeah, at this point tripleo is archived and i think you will hit multiple issues to deploy with it13:27
amoralejmaybe you can get no-cost developer subscriptions for red hat openstack platform, tbh, i'm not sure if openstack platform is included in developer subscription program13:29
memem_Thanks for the hints13:30
apevec1 year of access to all Red Hat products13:38
apevec^from https://developers.redhat.com/13:38
amoralejapevec, all products are included ?13:38
apevecso yes, OSP is included13:38
amoralejmemem_, ^ 13:38
apevec"all Red Hat products" means all :)13:39
amoralej:)13:39
amoralejright, i missed that13:39
