@brunomuniz:matrix.orgHey, folks. How are you? 12:24
I asked a question in the General channel, but this might be a better place.
This is the question: https://matrix.to/#/!BWxhtjTHLQnYpROPUZ:opendev.org/$Kg1PR5UKtGalvlB5BGNDNeVRVVinEXONz05j3dTheqc?via=opendev.org&via=matrix.org
But let me give the context here... we found that the ISO available in the official mirror was poorly configured because there's a fix that was done ~10 days after the ISO available in the official mirror was built. I recorded this in this LP: https://bugs.launchpad.net/starlingx/+bug/2034580
I then cherry-picked two commits from master to the 8.0 branch:
https://review.opendev.org/c/starlingx/config/+/894221
https://review.opendev.org/c/starlingx/config/+/893921
Now I'm wondering if this should trigger a patch or something that would update the latest available version in the official mirrors. Without that, all the effort to find the fix, test and cherry-pick is useless for anyone using the latest 8.0 iso build available.
@doug.pereira:matrix.orgscott.little: any ideas about bruno's question above?16:06
