@ceyhunseninventron:matrix.org | Hi, ericmacdonald. Controller-0 is indeed configured and in unlocked state. It can serve a DHCP server to other hosts on the network. If I autoboot on iPXE (from totally new server), new server gets an IP (169.254.202.* subnet) and detects EFI/BOOT/bootx64.efi file. So, I think controller-0 is installed correctly. | 08:38 |

@ceyhunseninventron:matrix.org | Right now, I am trying to boot other servers manually. Here is the command I use to install controller-1: | 08:40 |
@ceyhunseninventron:matrix.org | With this, I successfully installed controller-1 and unlocked it. But it was a little bit cumbersome: I had to give OAM interface an IP by hand after it boots. Without that, controller-0 didn't managed to detect controller-1 as online. | 08:43 |
@ceyhunseninventron:matrix.org | After unlocking controller-1, I lost communication completely with controller-0. | 08:45 |
@ceyhunseninventron:matrix.org | But I noticed something in your message: "System node installs must get their kernel and initrd from a path under the controller-0:/var/www/pages/feed. WRCP has lighttpd rules that prevent serving up install files from outside the feed.". I manually copy kernel and initrd to /var/pxeboot. Without this, iPXE cannot fetch those images. But ostree_repo and kickstart.cfg files can be fetched through /var/www/pages/feed. | 08:47 |
@ceyhunseninventron:matrix.org | Is this a problem? | 08:47 |
