@ceyhunseninventron:matrix.org | Hi tcervi. As I mentioned earlier, I tried to setup AIO-SX on new hardware (It turns out new server had the same motherboard as the previous one). Unfortunately, I got the same error. | 10:38 |

I am only following the StarlingX AIO-SX install guide (https://docs.starlingx.io/r/stx.8.0/deploy_install_guides/release/bare_metal/aio_simplex_install_kubernetes.html) and not doing anything else. Should I also follow OpenStack guides? Maybe, like configuring network on OpenStack side too?
I run that command on the new server. Here is the output:
``` | ||
| | ovs: | | ||
| | bridge_mappings: datanet0:br-phy0, | | ||
| | datapath_type: system | | ||
| | integration_bridge: br-int | | ||
| | vhostuser_socket_dir: /var/run/openvswitch | | ||
@tcervi:matrix.org | Hi Ceyhun Şen | 13:42 |
The StarlingX platform is totally independent of the stx-openstack application. The app is only one of many that can be applied on top of an existing StarlingX system. So yes, you followed the StarlingX "general" installation guide but to deploy the stx-openstack application there are some specific configurations required to be done.
I already pointed the data-net config guide, the complete summary of such required configs you can find here:
https://docs.starlingx.io/planning/index-planning-332af0718d15.html
@tcervi:matrix.org | "StarlingX OpenStack is installed as an application in a deployed StarlingX environment and requires additional network, storage, security and resource planning." | 13:42 |
