@tcervi:matrix.org> <@ildikov:matrix.org> Background for my questions: As we've been discussing testing challenges on the Community Calls, I would like to make sure that if a newcomer volunteers to help out they have the resources they need to know what and how to do.14:04
I'm not familiar with STX Test Documentation, but reading this message something else came to my mind: for a newcomer, there is also the environment "challenge" right?
AFAIK currently the STX Test Pipelines run against proprietary/private physical HW, which would not be available for a newcomer to use.
Just wanted to point it out, in case we are considering updating/compiling test documentation, the setup of test environment would def be worth of some care and love too 😁

I think this is a great point as well. I think a test documentation should have the HW requirements listed in it, so people know what they need to make it work. Or which test cases they might expect to fail due to HW dependency.
