sgw | slittle1: just checking is the expectation that build-pkgs just works when using layer-build? I just checkout out compile.xml, ran the populate-downloads.sh scripts, generate-cgcs-centos-repo, should all the binary and source packages be copy-ed/linked or just the compile related one? | 18:37 |
slittle1 | build-pkgs should just work, requiring no extra arguments. As i left it, it would download only the minimal set of rpms to build just that layer. | 18:41 |
slittle1 | The layer specific lst files I create are likely out of date, so build may fail on a missing package. | 18:42 |
sgw | I will double check what the generate script is doing, the populate-downloads did only get a small handful of files | 18:43 |
slittle1 | only 5 packages are built from the 'compile' layer ... last I saw it. | 18:45 |
sgw | seems like 6 now in downloads and a limited set of Binary and Source rpms, so looking good. I will try distro next | 18:48 |
sgw | I will push a set of test manifests later today. | 18:48 |
sgw | Debugging build failure now! | 19:22 |
