gebHello,10:39
gebI am trying to play with multisite VIM support and I am a bit stuck. Is there other documentations than https://docs.openstack.org/tacker/latest/user/multisite_vim_usage_guide.html & https://specs.openstack.org/openstack/tacker-specs/specs/mitaka/multi-site-feature.html ?10:40

phuoc_hi geb10:52
phuoc_you can check this document10:52
phuoc_https://docs.openstack.org/tacker/latest/user/multisite_vim_usage_guide.html#deploying-a-new-vnf-on-registered-vim10:52
phuoc_when you create new vnf, you can specify which vim you want to deploy it by using '--vim-name'10:53
gebThanks I found the answer of my question ! I am playing with multiples regions inside the same VIM with a shared keystone and a local heat, it was not clear in https://specs.openstack.org/openstack/tacker-specs/specs/mitaka/multi-site-feature.html "Assumptions" if it was supported but it works fine, only need to change "$HEAT_CONF DEFAULT region_name_for_services" or the remote sites :)11:05
gebbtw egonzalez, phuoc_, if you are still interested investigating around Tricircle I can send you my testbed scripts. While I cannot share them publicly as of now they can be a good base for a quick test. They install 3 VM with 3 Openstack Regions, shared network with Tricircle (still monohomed for end public external network, will try to anycast for input, and maybe check if there is a way to have multiple default routes for output) and a multisite Tacker11:07

egonzalezgeb thanks for the research, appreciate the info11:47

gebHum, i may have talked too fast about multi regions vim, changing "$HEAT_CONF DEFAULT region_name_for_services" makes in fact VNF being created in this region, instead of just using it for keystone etc .. need to investigate a bit more ..13:52
