09:03:38 <priteau> Hi tetsuro_
09:04:37 <priteau> Discussion topics for today
09:04:41 <priteau> #topic Update on specs work
09:06:31 <priteau> We have two specs in review priority
09:06:38 <priteau> #link https://review.opendev.org/#/q/project:openstack/blazar-specs+status:open+label:Review-Priority%252B1
09:07:07 <priteau> I reviewed the resource property discovery API, but didn't give a +2 as I have some minor comments / questions
09:07:44 <priteau> Mostly around how much we want to disclose to users
09:08:18 <priteau> But overall it looks like a good spec
09:08:52 <priteau> I'll try to review the usage enforcement spec later this week, but it's a busy one
09:09:05 <priteau> I suppose that's all for Ussuri specs?
09:10:08 <priteau> Thank you tetsuro_ for your reviews
09:12:14 <priteau> #topic Ussuri priorities
09:13:43 <priteau> I've taken a first look at the network reservation patch
09:14:28 <priteau> Unfortunately there are still bits of code that are entirely Chameleon-specific and don't make any sense to have upstream
09:15:08 <priteau> Hopefully we'll get a new patch from Jake soon
09:15:53 <priteau> You also made good comments about docs
09:16:21 <priteau> At least this patch could be covered by an FFE since it is well isolated as a plugin
09:17:49 <priteau> Another patch that we need to review for Ussuri is a bug fix submitted by Jake recently
09:17:52 <priteau> #link https://review.opendev.org/#/c/713981/
09:18:45 <priteau> This was discovered on the Chameleon deployment. For as far as I remember really, Blazar would sometimes stop processing events, with no errors in logs, and only a service restart would fix it.
09:19:31 <priteau> The fix looks pretty simple
09:20:18 <tetsuro_> ...is it difficult to have a test for this?
09:23:29 <priteau> I'll test if it is repeatable just by restarting mariadb under devstack.
09:23:48 <priteau> I suppose another way to test would be to mock an exception
09:25:21 <priteau> Can you leave a comment to request a test?
09:25:27 <tetsuro_> sure
09:27:07 <priteau> Anything else you would like to highlight for Ussuri?
09:31:44 <tetsuro_> No, sir
09:33:41 <priteau> #topic AOB
09:34:06 <priteau> You must have seen that the Vancouver event has become virtual
09:36:23 <tetsuro_> I have. It is a reasonable decision.
09:37:55 <priteau> If you want to volunteer to help shape the virtual PTG, there's an Etherpad at https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/Virtual_PTG_Planning
09:39:15 <priteau> Not much more information for now.
09:39:25 <priteau> That's all from me this week!
09:40:54 <priteau> Anything else tetsuro_?
09:41:07 <tetsuro_> Thanks, I don't have any other business
09:42:09 <priteau> Thanks tetsuro_
09:42:18 <priteau> Have a good week!
