02:45:32 <ekcs> RC1 is due on on Thursday just less than two weeks from today.
02:47:39 <ekcs> between now and RC1 we’re asked to avoid adding new features, so that we can focus on finding and fixing bugs and putting finishing touches on the release.
02:48:58 <ekcs> we still have some work to do in tempest testing and docs so we can put out a reliable and polished release.
02:49:25 <ekcs> the idea is that RC1 is expected to be the final release unless we find critical bugs.
