15:03:50 <danpb> hi, is anyone here waiting for libvirt meeting ?
15:04:34 <sew1> o/
15:04:57 <s1rp> o/
15:05:34 <danpb> there's no agenda items today so....
15:05:40 <danpb> #topic Open Discussion
15:06:07 <s1rp> danpb: we have a patch for the /run/initctl issue... we're testing it now, should probably make it to the ML later this week
15:06:41 <danpb> excellant
15:07:40 <s1rp> we're doing cold snapshots for LXC (using LVM cow was a pain for a number of reasons); so we need that patch to have the container actually shutdown
15:08:05 <s1rp> the LVM cold snapshot code is basically done, and we'll try to upstream it in the coming days
15:09:15 <s1rp> that's it from me
15:09:40 <sew1> speaking of shutdown, it also looks like there's been some mailing list activity wrt lxc shutdown and setns support:
15:09:42 <sew1> https://www.redhat.com/archives/libvir-list/2014-September/msg00529.html
15:10:03 <danpb> yep, i think the patches are all committed now though
15:10:14 <sew1> sweet
15:10:35 <sew1> so will the stable 1.2.3 branch eventually see those commits?
15:10:49 <danpb> only if someone asks for it
15:10:58 <danpb> so if you want to see it on stable say son the list
15:11:12 <danpb> otherwise it'll go into Oct 1st release
15:11:20 <danpb> (only 2 weeks away now)
15:11:45 <sew1> sounds good
15:12:10 <s1rp> danpb: if /run/initctl patch looks good, anychance that'll make it into oct 1?
15:12:21 <danpb> sure, plenty of time yet
15:12:29 <s1rp> cools
15:16:59 <danpb> ok, well seems we've nothing much going on here, so lets call it a wrap
15:17:05 <danpb> #endmeeting
