08:09:46 <dalees> It's pretty primitive but does the job well for customisations that don't warrant a full helm chart fork and publish (which is how we handle this, but could likely replace lots of these).
08:13:01 <dalees> I think if handling many files is burdonsome for deployers (noting mnasiadka's Kolla hat) there is an alternative API approach that could be made (and the values stored in a DB), but it's a *much* bigger change and could be used in parallel to this patchset anyway.
