16:01:26 <gthiemonge> Hi!
16:01:33 <johnsom> o/
16:02:14 <tweining> hello
16:04:16 <gthiemonge> #topic Announcements
16:04:21 <gthiemonge> * Zed PTG - Octavia
16:04:38 <gthiemonge> Folks, I reserved 2 sessions for the Octavia PTG
16:04:45 <gthiemonge> Thursday April 7, 14:00-17:00UTC
16:04:49 <gthiemonge> Friday April 8, 14:00-17:00UTC
16:04:59 <gthiemonge> and I created an etherpad for the PTG:
16:05:03 <gthiemonge> #link https://etherpad.opendev.org/p/zed-ptg-octavia
16:05:19 <gthiemonge> I will add more items to the list of proposed topics
16:05:35 <gthiemonge> Don't hesitate to add your topics if there's something you would like to discuss during the PTG!
16:06:11 <johnsom> Nice! You are ahead of me.
16:06:43 <gthiemonge> :D
16:07:10 <gthiemonge> * Yoga release schedule - RC1 next week
16:07:16 <gthiemonge> #link https://releases.openstack.org/yoga/schedule.html
16:07:42 <johnsom> Yes, we should aim to have all bug fixes for Yoga merged early in next week.
16:07:44 <gthiemonge> Next week is the RC1 for Yoga, we would like to merge all the bugfixes before this deadline
16:08:25 <gthiemonge> Reminder, the priority review list is at:

16:11:14 <gthiemonge> any other announcements folks?
16:12:38 <johnsom> I don't have any
16:12:43 <gthiemonge> ok
16:12:52 <gthiemonge> #topic Brief progress reports / bugs needing review
16:12:59 <johnsom> There is a client stable branch patch open in releases, not sure if you saw that
16:13:23 <johnsom> #link https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/releases/+/831296
16:13:50 <gthiemonge> Oh! thanks, I will take a look
16:14:35 <gthiemonge> Many reviews for me this week (and downstream tasks)
16:14:55 <gthiemonge> FYI I opened a new story for an ipv6/allowed_cidrs issue I got in a CI job:
16:15:01 <gthiemonge> #link https://storyboard.openstack.org/#!/story/2009887
16:15:19 <gthiemonge> it seems that the security groups for the VIP ports were not updated when setting the allowed_cidrs of a listener
16:15:48 <gthiemonge> I'm checking if I can reproduce it
16:15:52 <johnsom> Yeah, for Octavia I have worked on the reviews list this week.
16:15:59 <gthiemonge> Please ping me if you see an ipv6/allowed_cidrs test that fails in the CI!
16:16:59 <johnsom> I also posted a Grafana dashboard to etc/grafana that can be imported for the Prometheus endpoint. I don't recommend reading the json for review, it's generated by the grafana tooling. I would recommend just importing it in grafana and reviewing.
16:17:32 <gthiemonge> johnsom: thanks! I will give it a try!

16:21:02 <gthiemonge> #topic Open Discussion
16:22:06 <gthiemonge> any other topics?
16:22:17 <johnsom> I don't have any.
16:22:23 <tweining> me neither
16:22:29 <johnsom> I am done messing with the Prometheus feature
16:22:47 <gthiemonge> Ok so let's focus on reviews for Yoga!
16:22:48 <johnsom> The only known gap is that it doesn't pull in UDP/SCTP metrics.
16:22:57 <johnsom> It's on the release note/docs.
16:23:32 <johnsom> Probably a project for Zed
16:24:06 <gthiemonge> wow, that would be a difficult project
16:24:18 <johnsom> Nah, we pull them in for the API already
16:24:36 <johnsom> It's just adding the parsers to the prometheus-proxy code.
16:24:37 <gthiemonge> but only a few metrics
16:24:54 <johnsom> However, those parsers are complex in the amphora code today, so.... Will take a bit of time
16:25:06 <johnsom> Yeah, the metrics for UDP/SCTP are very limited.
16:29:43 <gthiemonge> Ok Folks, I guess that's it for today!
16:29:46 <gthiemonge> Thank you!
