16:00:27 <gthiemonge> hello
16:00:31 <oschwart> o/
16:00:42 <tweining> o/
16:02:50 <gthiemonge> #topic Announcements
16:02:56 <gthiemonge> * Bobcat Release Schedule: Bobcat-2 Milestone next week!
16:03:06 <gthiemonge> it's already Bobcat-2 next week
16:03:19 <gthiemonge> we have merged many sqlalchemy2-related commits
16:03:26 <gthiemonge> a few are still blocked by CI issues
16:03:36 <gthiemonge> and then there's the Big One
16:03:43 <gthiemonge> https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/octavia/+/861316
16:03:53 <johnsom> o/
16:04:01 <gthiemonge> I think we also wanted to have some other patches merged before/for Bobcat-2
16:04:52 <gthiemonge> tweining: HSTS, right?
16:05:10 <tweining> right
16:05:16 <gthiemonge> https://review.opendev.org/q/topic:hsts-haproxy
16:05:59 <gthiemonge> tweining: can you remove https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/octavia-lib/+/881701 from the patch chain, I'm fine to have the other patch merged, but this one needs further testing
16:06:04 <johnsom> Oh, yes, we need to land that octavia-lib real-soon-now(tm)
16:06:40 <tweining> that priority review list should still be pretty up to date even though I didn't look at it for some time
16:06:43 <johnsom> #link https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/octavia-lib/+/880821
16:08:29 <gthiemonge> I can update it
16:08:39 <gthiemonge> I have a script
16:09:53 <gthiemonge> ok any other announcements?
16:12:02 <gthiemonge> #topic CI Status
16:12:06 <gthiemonge> quick update
16:12:22 <opendevreview> Tom Weininger proposed openstack/octavia-lib master: Add support for HTTP Strict Transport Security https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/octavia-lib/+/880821
16:12:26 <gthiemonge> the check/gate pipelines are/were broken on master
16:12:41 <gthiemonge> a commit in devstack should fix the jobs
16:12:47 <gthiemonge> https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/devstack/+/886795
16:12:47 <johnsom> Just an FYI, I hosted a forum session at the summit:
16:12:49 <johnsom> #link https://etherpad.opendev.org/p/octavia-forum-vancouver2023
16:12:52 <gthiemonge> (approved but failed in the CI)
16:12:56 <gthiemonge> johnsom: oh thanks!
16:13:28 <gthiemonge> johnsom: do we have any action items after this forum session? RFEs? bugs?
16:14:04 <johnsom> Well, there was interest in pulling the LB tenant flow logs into the API for users.
16:14:43 <johnsom> Basically their users are shooting themselves in the foot with broken backends and member ERROR doesn't compute that it's their configuration or backend server being down.
16:15:41 <johnsom> Otherwise, the issues were mostly specific to deployments.
16:16:12 <gthiemonge> interesting
16:16:12 <johnsom> There was of course interest in the cross-AZ patches. One of the contributors said they hope to clean the spread L2 patch for bobcat.
16:16:43 <johnsom> The dual stack question came in the etherpad after the session, so I commented as best I could.
16:17:46 <gthiemonge> I think we don't have dual stack examples in the doc, maybe we can add one
16:18:14 <johnsom> Yeah, that might be a nice addition to the cookbook
16:18:33 <gthiemonge> anyway, thank you johnsom!
16:18:37 <johnsom> NP
16:18:53 <johnsom> Pretty full room (for this summit's standards)
16:19:30 <gthiemonge> Nice!
16:20:17 <gthiemonge> back on CI issues, stable branches were impacted too, but they are ok now, I have rechecked a few already approved backports
16:20:47 <gthiemonge> #topic Brief progress reports / bugs needing review
16:21:42 <tweining> https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/octavia-dashboard/+/885948 that fix for a barbicanclient will need to be backported to 2023.1 at least
16:22:18 <tweining> zed should not be affected but I'm testing that just to be sure
16:22:33 <gthiemonge> tweining: thanks, LGTM, I tested a previous patchset
16:26:48 <gthiemonge> #topic Open Discussion
16:28:22 <gthiemonge> anything else folks?
16:28:47 <oschwart> nothing else from me
16:29:16 <tweining> that let's encrypt spec.... I had a look at it today as well, but could come up with clever comments.
16:29:38 <tweining> *could not
16:30:14 <tweining> apart from that nothing from me
16:30:50 <gthiemonge> ok, yeah reviewing the specs should be high priority
16:31:33 <gthiemonge> ok then, thank you guys!
