16:05:46 <gthiemonge> still working on Centos 10 stream support, we had some concerns because a dhcp client is not available in the amphora-haproxy namespace, so I had a discussion with some friends from Neutron and neutron always allocates ip addresses in fixed ips (unless an empty fixed_ips parameter is passed), so it looks like we don't really need a dhcp client in the amphora

16:09:02 <johnsom> Sounds good. The TC PTG session talked about the issues with supporting CentOS 10 stream and alternatives. I came away with no real decision was made.
16:10:09 <gthiemonge> note that centos stream, alma and rocky are really similar, same code, same dependencies, but there's a lot of differences in DIB
16:10:33 <gthiemonge> so working on c10s will help to support alma and rocky, but there's still some work to do there

16:18:15 <johnsom> For those that aren't familiar, pylint released a version that broke the "ignore" file path function, so pylint now runs on all of the tests modules when it did not before. This causes a lot of errors to be reported.
16:19:32 <johnsom> It's been three weeks with discussion on the bug (even a proposed fix), but no traction from the pylint team.
