16:08:45 <johnsom> Hi everyone, sorry for the delay today
16:08:55 <rcruise> No worries
16:09:10 <gthiemonge> o/
16:09:20 <rcruise> o/
16:09:47 <johnsom> #topic Announcements
16:09:57 <raineszm> o/
16:10:14 <johnsom> This week is Gazpacho milestone 2
16:11:10 <gthiemonge> wow
16:11:19 <gthiemonge> WOW
16:11:23 <johnsom> Yeah, time flies
16:11:46 <gthiemonge> feature freeze end of Feb, I see
16:12:14 <johnsom> Octavia lib will have it's final release the week of Feb 16th
16:13:26 <johnsom> Also look for the email to vote on the "H" series name for the next OpenStack release.
16:13:36 <gthiemonge> I did it
16:14:07 <johnsom> Me too. Interesting list this time
16:14:19 <johnsom> Any other announcements today?
16:14:29 <gthiemonge> HNY!
16:14:48 <johnsom> Yes, Happy New Year everyone!
16:15:03 <johnsom> #topic Brief progress reports / bugs needing review
16:15:34 <johnsom> Speaking of Happy New Year, I was on an extended break over the holidays, so don't have much to report here.
16:15:48 <gthiemonge> well, holiday season for me too
16:15:58 <gthiemonge> still working on centos 10 stream support
16:16:15 <gthiemonge> (and also rocky 10, it successfully passed the CI yesterday)
16:16:28 <johnsom> I am getting back into the reviews and starting work once again on the rate limiting patch chain, though downstream is determined to eat up a lot of my time on other things.
16:17:12 <gthiemonge> before approving the patches in octavia, we need to wait 2 other patches: one bugfix for c10s in devstack, one patch in requirements that bumps the DIB release
16:17:47 <rcruise> I'm still working on testing the fix for the VRRP security issue
16:17:52 <johnsom> I also noticed yesterday that some of the Octavia repositories still point to storyboard instead of launchpad and posted a patch for one of those.
16:19:07 <rcruise> Yeah I did a quick look, looks like octavia-lib, python-octaviaclient, octavia-tempest-plugin are pointing at storyboard
16:19:32 <rcruise> As well as octavia-dashboard which Michael has a review open for
16:19:35 <johnsom> Yeah, this was a miss on our part. We updated the main repo but not the others.
16:20:54 <johnsom> Ok, any other updates?
16:21:12 <johnsom> #topic Open Discussion
16:21:20 <johnsom> Any other topics for today?
16:21:28 <gthiemonge> nothing from me
16:21:54 <raineszm> o/ I don't mean to add to the review workload but I have a couple of things that need a workflow +2 and some CI fixes needing review
16:22:19 <johnsom> Please, feel free to ping us on priority reviews.
16:22:35 <johnsom> Can you paste links here with the "#link" prefix?
16:22:50 <raineszm> Sure
16:23:04 <raineszm> These fix unmaintained/2023.1 CI

16:23:27 <raineszm> These are 2024.1
16:23:55 <raineszm> And these need workflow

16:24:12 <gthiemonge> wow
16:24:27 <raineszm> Like I said, sorry
16:24:43 <gthiemonge> on a related note, I don't have the core reviewer rights on the unmaintained/* branches
16:24:53 <johnsom> No, it's good to raise visibility. We are still working through a backlog
16:25:32 <johnsom> Correct, actually none of the Octavia cores can approve patches on the "unmaintained" branch. This is a different group.
16:25:35 <raineszm> I can contact a few people with unmaintained +2, but not stable or master
16:25:55 <johnsom> Stable and master branch we can address
16:26:28 <raineszm> Both of the CI fixes involve a fix on octavia-tempest-plugin/master. Once that's in I can go bug unmaintained cores to look at the dependent stuff
16:26:41 <raineszm> Oh what a tangled web... etc.
16:26:50 <johnsom> Ok, we will have a look.
16:27:07 <raineszm> I appreciate you taking a look especially with the milestone coming up. Thankfully they're small patches
16:27:35 <johnsom> Yes, I would put my hat in the unmaintained pool of reviews, but I am way over stretched already. Sorry I don't have capacity to add that to my core list.
16:28:07 <rcruise> I should be able to take a look as well
16:28:37 <raineszm> johnsom: yeah that's absolutely reasonable. I see you everywhere on the reviews anyway
16:29:16 <gthiemonge> I'll take a look at those patches
16:30:55 <johnsom> Ok, any other discussion items today?
16:31:35 <johnsom> Thank you for joining and welcome to 2026!
