15:09:53 <gagehugo> Let's get started
15:09:56 <gagehugo> sorry for the late start
15:10:01 <gagehugo> #topic Removing EOL openstack releases
15:10:35 <gagehugo> lamt has a change here to remove the old openstack releases from the periodic checks
15:10:39 <gagehugo> #link https://review.opendev.org/#/c/760059/
15:11:10 <gagehugo> as well as remove the rocky release from our normal checks
15:11:57 <gagehugo> From our discussions at the PTG, we mentioned bumping the major chart version when we would stop supporting a release
15:12:07 <gagehugo> any thoughts here?
15:14:01 <gagehugo> otherwise we can discuss in the comments of that patchset
15:14:30 <gagehugo> #topic OSH compute jobs are failing
15:14:46 <miniroy> I think it makes sense to bump major version, so we can have some mapping if nothing else
15:15:45 <cliffparsons> o/
15:15:47 <gagehugo> yeah, that was a major consensus for anyone using the charts if they were on an older version
15:16:09 <miniroy> I am still trying to poke at the gate failure, haven't found much yet
15:16:11 <gagehugo> they could more easily see that we no longer support older releases
15:18:14 <gagehugo> for context on the gate failure, we are currently seeing messages with ovs-vswitchd: pthread_create failed (Resource temporarily unavailable)
15:19:08 <miniroy> yeah have been talking about that with Andrii since last week
15:20:03 <lamt> I can take a look at it today - may be it is a docker issue with ovs? I have a minikube instance running cri-o - going to see if that works
15:20:46 <miniroy> Cool @lamt let me know what you found
15:21:10 <miniroy> their kernel version looks fine so we speculated maybe some odd package change is in the way
15:23:22 <miniroy> worst case I may tune the chart to see if we can lower the thread count and verify if it is indeed some new resource limitation we are bumping into, but other than that, nothing concrete
15:25:30 <gagehugo> miniroy lamt: thanks for looking into that!
15:25:41 <gagehugo> #topic Nov 24th meeting cancelled
15:25:58 <gagehugo> Just a heads up the Nov 24th meeting will be cancelled for Thanksgiving week
15:26:10 <gagehugo> #topic open discussion
15:26:19 <gagehugo> Anyone have anything else they want to discuss this week?
15:27:14 <stevthedev> I will try to take a look at the LMA stuff in osh-addons this week
15:27:33 <stevthedev> But haven't made any progress there since PTG
15:27:34 <stevthedev> :(
15:29:17 <gagehugo> no worries
15:29:37 <miniroy> stevthedev try some MMA before LMA, that may spike your spirit some :)
15:30:39 <stevthedev> OSH Fight club? Shhhhhh
15:31:36 <miniroy> let's push for that at the next PTG!?! HAHA
15:31:41 <stevthedev> Have a good day everyone, gotta hop to the next meeting.
15:32:02 <stevthedev> I'm kinda triple booked in this new timeslot lol
15:33:14 <gagehugo> thanks everyone
