18:16:56 <mmichelson> First, I submitted a patch to use OVS as a submodule in OVN. There's also a follow-up patch that will add a weekly CI job that will test OVN against OVS master.

18:17:19 <mmichelson> Second, I sent a long-ass email that details ideas for refactoring ovn-controller.

18:18:02 <mmichelson> With regards to that e-mail, I know it's a slog to try to read the whole thing, but it could be nice to gather feedback about the feasibility of such a refactor

18:22:59 <blp> The first step is rebasing and making sure that tests pass. They probably don't, so I'll add the features and bug fixes that have gone in since last time I did this.
