08:01:33 <opendevmeet> The meeting name has been set to 'publiccloud_sig'
08:01:55 <frickler> \o
08:02:08 <tobberydberg> Lets see if we get any more participants :-)
08:02:14 <gtema> full house today
08:02:31 <fkr> o/
08:02:35 <tobberydberg> I forgot to send reminder yesterday
08:03:33 <tobberydberg> We can start of with first topic on the agenda
08:03:40 <tobberydberg> 1. PTG participation and experience
08:03:56 <tobberydberg> How was the PTG for you? Did you participate a lot?
08:04:27 * frickler is still exhausted
08:04:40 <frickler> too much overlap between sessions
08:05:12 <tobberydberg> Can imagine
08:05:36 <fkr> i enjoyed it, was the first PTG I participated in. next time, I'll make sure to block the whole week for it.
08:06:10 <frickler> the ptg is mainly designed for developers identifying as belonging to a single team. doesn't work so well for someone interested in a lot of different projects
08:07:35 <tobberydberg> Aha, ok ok. I personally have a really hard time setting off a week, then also the time of normal working hours etc if hard to manage.
08:08:37 <tobberydberg> For me physical PTG is so much easier from that perspective but also as operator to interact with the teams
08:08:44 <frickler> with the current schedule, it is mostly added on top of normal working hours, that adds to the exhaustion, too, yes
08:09:15 <tobberydberg> yea
08:09:22 <frickler> I'm still happy that they switched to virtual again, I wouldn't travel anywhere any more
08:11:29 <tobberydberg> Aha, ok ok. Well, virtual gives everyone the opportunity to participate indeed
08:12:43 <tobberydberg> For me since the physical PTH didn't happen I was scheduled for 2 national trips for the company instead ;-)
08:13:31 <tobberydberg> Seams like gtema got logged out, would have been good to have a recap regarding his team there as well
08:14:30 <frickler> had some good discussion on sdk topics IMO, also with the ansible openstack modules team
08:14:52 <tobberydberg> Good to hear!
08:15:31 <tobberydberg> Unfortunate I didn't manage during these 2 weeks to get anything done regarding summary and exemplification of the "standard set of properties" ... and I guess none else did either ;-)
08:18:14 <tobberydberg> So, that is still on the "todo" list
08:20:09 <fkr> i raised some of the items within the scs team and raised awareness to it
08:21:02 <tobberydberg> Ok. Did they have any direct response to this of any kind?
08:21:21 <fkr> i'll actually take the pad into one of the sessions
08:21:40 <fkr> and see that we match that against the spec that I shared here
08:21:46 <tobberydberg> ok ok, cool
08:22:01 <fkr> goal is that they align ;)
08:22:03 <tobberydberg> I think that is really useful
08:24:13 <tobberydberg> Last time we talked about making this a weekly meeting, something that we should try to get going?
08:25:26 <fkr> I wouldn't mind if we actively work on items.
08:29:29 <fkr> tobberydberg: the agenda lists "How to continue the "standard set of properties" work. do you have precise ideas on that?
08:30:45 <tobberydberg> No, I actually don't, would be happy for ideas now. My thought were to summarize what we've agreed on and create some examples to make sure we are on the same page
08:31:16 <fkr> +1
08:31:58 <tobberydberg> which might be a first step. Then I assume we need to make this a bit more concrete and official, document it somewhere
08:32:14 <tobberydberg> Right now we do not have a repo for this SIG, maybe that is something we need? Or if it is suited better somewhere else?
08:33:58 <tobberydberg> My plan was to have that done before today, but didn't manage to find the time for that unfortunate, but hopefully I will be able to do that beginning of next week
08:35:35 <fkr> sounds good. I'll be on PTO next week, but will likely read some irc.
08:35:55 <tobberydberg> ok ok
08:36:31 <tobberydberg> Do we have anything else we would like to discuss? Or should we hope for next week? ;-)
08:37:15 <fkr> tobberydberg: I'll see that I'll ask my colleagues to discuss this topic ('standard set of properties') next week, so that I can bring back some feedback the week after.
08:37:48 <tobberydberg> Sounds great fkr +1
08:39:45 <tobberydberg> So then we leave this for today and continue next week
08:40:24 <tobberydberg> Something else before we close the meeting?
08:44:34 <tobberydberg> I guess not then :-)
08:44:52 <tobberydberg> Thanks for today and see you next week hopefully :-)
08:45:18 <frickler> thx tobberydberg
