14:02:24 <jcapitao[m]> #topic roll call
14:02:25 <ykarel> should be https://etherpad.opendev.org/p/RDO-Meeting
14:02:45 <spotz> o/
14:03:00 <amoralej> o/
14:03:11 <josecastroleon> o/
14:03:12 <spotz> ykarel: is correct
14:03:12 <PagliaccisCloud> O/
14:03:33 <jcapitao[m]> ah thank you ykarel
14:04:44 <jcapitao[m]> #chair spotz ykarel spotz amoralej josecastroleon PagliaccisCloud
14:04:44 <opendevmeet> Current chairs: PagliaccisCloud amoralej jcapitao[m] josecastroleon spotz ykarel
14:04:54 <kkula> hi!
14:06:01 <jcapitao[m]> #chair kkula
14:06:01 <opendevmeet> Current chairs: PagliaccisCloud amoralej jcapitao[m] josecastroleon kkula spotz ykarel
14:06:47 <jcapitao[m]> ok let's start with first topic
14:06:52 <jcapitao[m]> #topic Yoga SWAG
14:07:29 <spotz> Ok so I started going through the items that seemed sports related and have a potential list to put out for commuity voting
14:09:08 <spotz> The obvious is a Yoga mat, though I know there may not be interest in that. So we could go with a beach towel which could in theory be used for yoga. I was also thinking of a cooler. I found one that came with a beverage shaker and a food container and I believ silverware. And last option would be a nice water bottle
14:09:44 <spotz> I also thought about something like a gym bag but haven't found one yet
14:10:00 <spotz> Thoughts on that before rubber ducks?:)
14:10:58 <amoralej> i'm not sure, tbh, i liked the gym bag :D
14:11:00 <jcapitao[m]> I think the water bottle is very useful
14:11:12 <amoralej> but yea, water bottle lgtm
14:11:37 <kkula> the bag sounds awesome
14:12:21 <spotz> Ok I'll add a gym bag and then put out a poll with the options for everyone to vote on. So far I've just seen totes which I didn't like
14:13:18 <spotz> Ok I'll start typing about ducks but we can come back if needed
14:13:50 <jcapitao[m]> ah ok tote bag https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tote_bag
14:14:07 <rdogerrit> Merged rdoinfo master: Update python-fixtures in Yoga for cs8 anc cs9 https://review.rdoproject.org/r/c/rdoinfo/+/39745
14:14:09 <jcapitao[m]> didn't know that word :)
14:15:02 <jcapitao[m]> spotz: I think we have time for duck
14:15:05 <spotz> So the Z name will be Zed which doesn't leave us with any really cool ideas so I'm thinking we go back to the idea of a traveller or something Berlin related. I haven't reached out to any vendors yet to see if it's possible to get something totally different then what they offer
14:15:26 <spotz> jcapitao[m]: yeah the tote bag seems more groceries then sports:)
14:15:45 <amoralej> yes, not something to go to the gym, i agree :)
14:16:02 <spotz> For D&I reasons I'm looking for someone different for a vendor if possible
14:16:28 <spotz> So keep adding ideas to #link https://etherpad.opendev.org/p/rdo-swag
14:17:21 <jcapitao[m]> #link https://etherpad.opendev.org/p/rdo-swag
14:17:21 <spotz> The etherpad still has zombie ideas so ignore those:)
14:17:40 <amoralej> "not an option but cute" i like that :D
14:18:06 <jcapitao[m]> lol
14:18:17 <spotz> They have a lot of 'standard' ducks on those duck company sites!
14:19:04 <spotz> That's it for SWAG I think
14:19:22 <jcapitao[m]> ok thanks spotz
14:19:26 <jcapitao[m]> let's move on
14:19:30 <kkula> about a swag, I once got steel card holder
14:19:32 <jcapitao[m]> #topic Move out puppet promotion pipeline from Jenkins to Zuul
14:19:59 <jcapitao[m]> #link https://issues.redhat.com/projects/RDO/issues/RDO-21
14:20:15 <rdogerrit> Sandeep Yadav proposed rdo-infra/ci-config master: Revert "Skip SSL verify for ruck_rover.py" https://review.rdoproject.org/r/c/rdo-infra/ci-config/+/39335
14:20:27 <jcapitao[m]> #info all puppet promotion pipelines have been migrated from Jenkins to Zuul
14:21:13 <jcapitao[m]> kkula: ah right, could be a good idea
14:21:36 <kkula> I mean it can bo more metal credit card holder - like "remote" safe
14:21:59 <kkula> but i know, its not very sporty
14:22:08 <jcapitao[m]> yeah anti-NFC kind of
14:22:14 <amoralej> ah, those
14:22:41 <spotz> kkula: We just did a travel wallet (Ok it's bigger then I thought it was going to be) but we can have that as a future option
14:23:47 <ykarel> is anyone already received the travel wallet?
14:23:54 <ykarel> mine is stuck into shipment from long
14:24:04 <amoralej> i received it long ago
14:24:28 <ykarel> so likely related to travel restrictions based on country
14:24:34 <ykarel> on my end
14:25:11 <spotz> ykarel: If you still don't have it by Berlin let me know I'll make sure you get one there
14:25:49 <ykarel> ack
14:25:52 <spotz> Or I'll send it back with someone, just avoiding mailing it:)
14:26:10 <jcapitao[m]> so, we moved on from Jenkins with regard to puppet promotion pipelines
14:26:17 <jcapitao[m]> finally I'd say
14:26:22 <ykarel> that's great jcapitao[m]
14:26:37 <spotz> Yeah for Zuul! Good work!
14:26:54 <jcapitao[m]> thanks ykarel for the first one you implemented ;)
14:27:42 <ykarel> yw :)
14:28:16 <jcapitao[m]> let's see now if we'll have less resource issue
14:28:25 <jcapitao[m]> that's it for this topic
14:28:49 <spotz> No java so that should help with resources if it was RAM or CPU:)
14:28:55 <chandankumar> tristanC: hello, please have a look at this comment https://review.rdoproject.org/r/c/config/+/39705/1/zuul.d/upstream.yaml#47 when free, thansk! Then I will update the patch with new changes
14:30:16 <rdogerrit> Ronelle Landy created rdo-infra/ci-config master: Use updated nodeset for mol jobs https://review.rdoproject.org/r/c/rdo-infra/ci-config/+/39757
14:30:43 <jcapitao[m]> spotz: in fact we used to hit issues because of node quota against CICO environment
14:30:56 <jcapitao[m]> we were requesting too much nodes
14:31:04 <spotz> jcapitao[m]: ahh the other resource limit:)
14:31:18 <jcapitao[m]> yeah
14:31:35 <amoralej> we were consuming too many servers for ci from centos ci infra
14:32:30 <jcapitao[m]> yes CICO=CentOS CI infra
14:32:41 <rdogerrit> Ronelle Landy proposed rdo-infra/ci-config master: Use updated nodeset for mol jobs https://review.rdoproject.org/r/c/rdo-infra/ci-config/+/39757
14:32:47 <jcapitao[m]> we can move on to next topic
14:32:55 <jcapitao[m]> #topic Clients for CS9
14:33:15 <jcapitao[m]> josecastroleon: all yours :)
14:33:28 <jcapitao[m]> #link https://review.rdoproject.org/etherpad/p/openstackclient-centos9s
14:33:31 <rdogerrit> Tristan de Cacqueray proposed config master: Add tp pipeline using Code-Review vote https://review.rdoproject.org/r/c/config/+/39705
14:34:02 <josecastroleon> I've already packaged most of the clients and they are already tagged in the candidate repo
14:34:31 <amoralej> cool
14:34:41 <josecastroleon> i am just missing barbican, manila and octavia
14:35:21 <spotz> Great job!
14:35:55 <jcapitao[m]> yeah!
14:36:03 <jcapitao[m]> how many packages ?
14:36:59 <josecastroleon> 37 rebuilt packages
14:37:16 <josecastroleon> around 70 tagged as dependencies
14:37:33 <amoralej> i'm reading the issues you reported in the etherpad
14:37:38 <amoralej> wrt rsvgconverter, you need https://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=28370
14:37:38 <amoralej> for js-query... i think we did some trick
14:37:38 <amoralej> you remember what was requiring js-query?
14:38:09 <josecastroleon> let me check in the manila error
14:38:36 <josecastroleon> manilaclient
14:39:58 <amoralej> i remember we remove js-query as requirement in some dep...
14:40:18 <josecastroleon> nothing provides js-jquery needed by python3-sphinxcontrib-programoutput-0.17-2.el9s.noarch
14:40:24 <josecastroleon> that was the error message
14:40:36 <amoralej> lemme check if there is other build of that one
14:41:28 <amoralej> https://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=34820
14:41:53 <amoralej> note https://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=35674 was never promoted to -testing or el9-build
14:42:13 <josecastroleon> ups
14:42:38 <josecastroleon> missed that one, i'll remove it
14:43:06 <jcapitao[m]> good memory
14:43:23 <amoralej> for svg2pdfconverter, the right one is https://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=34552
14:44:11 <amoralej> so, with that we'll be done, right?
14:44:41 <josecastroleon> yes, unless you would like to add more clients into the thing
14:44:48 <jcapitao[m]> that was quick
14:45:09 <jcapitao[m]> I need to do the same for EPEL9, but I won't be that lucky :)
14:45:18 <josecastroleon> i was doing some packaging before ;)
14:46:01 <jcapitao[m]> josecastroleon++
14:46:10 <spotz> Woot!
14:46:53 <jcapitao[m]> let's go to last topic
14:47:04 <jcapitao[m]> #topic Status of RDO Yoga preparation
14:47:04 <amoralej> we may compare with "rdopkg info component:clients|grep xena-release|grep client"
14:47:46 <jcapitao[m]> right to double check
14:48:01 <josecastroleon> i know that there are more
14:48:20 <josecastroleon> i'll add them onto the list :)
14:48:52 <jcapitao[m]> #link https://trello.com/c/D6EIA1ed/762-yoga-release-preparation
14:48:58 <amoralej> i'd like to get the aodhclient, pankoclient, zaqarclient
14:49:06 <amoralej> not many tbh
14:49:34 <amoralej> it'd be great if you can check those
14:49:54 <amoralej> and thanks for the fixes in rpm-master branch josecastroleon++
14:50:08 <amoralej> so, wrt yoga
14:50:26 <amoralej> #info client libs for yoga are being released this week
14:50:59 <amoralej> #info RDO project is starting the preparation activities for Yoga release
14:51:13 <amoralej> so, we may start doing reqchecks for libs and clients i think
14:51:33 <spotz> amoralej: Have you started the etherpads?
14:51:53 <jcapitao[m]> https://review.rdoproject.org/etherpad/p/yoga-release-preparation
14:52:04 <amoralej> #info https://review.rdoproject.org/etherpad/p/yoga-release-preparation
14:52:19 <jcapitao[m]> we've started to reqcheck non client libs
14:54:37 <spotz> I'va added a link to what will be the announcement to that
14:54:37 <amoralej> ok good
14:54:56 <amoralej> btw, we need to decide what to do with deps for cs8
14:55:11 <amoralej> kkula, has been updating for cs9 using reviews in deps/XXX
14:55:35 <amoralej> i think we should try to build the same for cs8 manually with cbs from distgit, wdyt?
14:56:22 <jcapitao[m]> right
14:56:58 <jcapitao[m]> with reqcheck, we'll catch the ones we need to update in priority
14:57:37 <rdogerrit> Chandan Kumar proposed rdo-infra/ci-config master: Time to drop CentOS-8 master promoter config https://review.rdoproject.org/r/c/rdo-infra/ci-config/+/39486
14:57:47 <spotz> We can definitely give it a shot and see
14:57:48 <jcapitao[m]> also we'll hit issue with the ones containing pyproject RPM macros
14:57:49 <amoralej> actually, i'd say to try all that have been promoted in last review from kkula
14:58:02 <amoralej> mmm
14:58:07 <amoralej> that's a good point
14:58:19 <amoralej> pyproject macros were not backported to cs8?
14:58:28 <kkula> ok, I have some opened reviews and I can promote when closed
14:58:49 <jcapitao[m]> last time I checked it was not
15:00:22 <amoralej> ok, let's see how many we can update
15:00:30 <amoralej> good
15:00:36 <amoralej> we are almost out of time
15:00:41 <jcapitao[m]> yep
15:00:42 <amoralej> i think that's it wrt yoga
15:00:58 <jcapitao[m]> #topic Next chair
15:01:10 <jcapitao[m]> any volunteers ?
15:01:35 <spotz> I can, we're video next week
15:01:50 <jcapitao[m]> ah right
15:02:10 <spotz> Or if someone wants to lead the video call:)
15:02:12 <jcapitao[m]> #info spotz will chair the next meeting (video meeting)
15:02:20 <jcapitao[m]> thank you spotz
15:02:34 <jcapitao[m]> let's close the meeting
15:02:44 <jcapitao[m]> thank you everyone for joining
15:02:53 <jcapitao[m]> #endmeeting
