08:03:08 <opendevmeet> The meeting name has been set to 'tacker'
08:03:57 <yasufum> Do you have any topic for sharing?
08:05:18 <masaki-ueno> No topic from my side
08:07:26 <ueha> Nothing from my side today.
08:07:44 <yasufum> manpreet: Is there any update for sqlalchemy-filters?
08:09:25 <manpreetk> Would like to thank ueha san for helping in debugging and proposing improved logic for apply_filters.
08:10:31 <manpreetk> Last week db changes has been revisited and revised queries were uploaded in patch
08:10:42 <ueha> You're welcome!
08:13:24 <manpreetk> Currently what I am looking into "tacker-functional-devstack-multinode-legacy" failures. Where tacker is failing in creating vnf. In failed cases while creating VNF , internal server error is reported.
08:14:52 <yasufum> I’ve noticed your latest PS for logging. Do you find anything to be fixed?
08:15:31 <manpreetk> No seems ok
08:19:37 <manpreetk> The Internal server error logs: https://zuul.opendev.org/t/openstack/build/56e4197711194cc88d073a99aae48a17/log/controller-tacker/logs/screen-tacker.txt?severity=0#2236
08:22:55 <manpreetk> Thats all from my side
08:27:55 <yasufum> umm… it looks difficult to find out what’s happened inside.
08:28:19 <yasufum> What do you think it’s because of the change of sqlalchemy?
08:28:35 <manpreetk> On checking heat logs it points to python-aodhclient failure
08:28:54 <manpreetk> which again fails for internal server error
08:30:00 <manpreetk> I am trying to add debug logs to rule out db changes to find out whether it these changes causing issue.
08:32:41 <yasufum> I’ve also tried to fix the issue since the end of the last week, but it might be something hard to pick up apply_filters() because sqlalchemy-filters depends largely on sqlalchemy as you said.
08:33:21 <yasufum> As you may know, this issue in sqlalchemy-filters is going to be fixed, soon possibly.
08:33:26 <yasufum> #link https://github.com/juliotrigo/sqlalchemy-filters/pull/69
08:34:09 <yasufum> However, I’m not sure our failures in FT are fixed after this pull request is merged.
08:36:53 <yasufum> But it might be better to wait this PR is merged if you have nothing anymore for your patch.
08:37:17 <manpreetk> Thanks for sharing fix information. Is there any other way to debug FT issues, like my approach is to add debug prints. Could you suggest something else to address this issue?
08:39:39 <yasufum> My suggestion is to confirm that the behavior of your change is the same as the PR on local environment
08:40:12 <yasufum> to confirm the issue of sqlalchemy is the only reason of FT failures
08:40:15 <yasufum> at first
08:41:16 <yasufum> I’ve tried to confirm that on my environment actually.
08:42:53 <yasufum> I think the PR must be work with sqlalchemy 1.4 hopefully.
08:43:39 <yasufum> although I don’t know when it is merged.
08:43:43 <manpreetk> Thank you so much, I will follow your advice.
08:44:54 <yasufum> Thank you for your extra-large effort for the critical issue!
08:47:57 <yasufum> Is there any comment, or other topic?
08:48:14 <yasufum> If nothing, I’d like to close this meeting.
08:48:42 <manpreetk> Just humble request for patch reviews, for other repos like python-tackerclient and tacker-specs
08:50:36 <manpreetk> Thanks that's all from my side.
08:51:01 <yasufum> thanks, I will do that
08:51:09 <manpreetk> thanks :)
08:51:58 <yasufum> For specs, most of them can be merged now with another +2.
08:52:45 <takahashi-tsc> I'll review them.
08:52:52 <takahashi-tsc> Sorry for late...
08:53:14 <yasufum> thanks
08:54:08 <yasufum> Thank you for reviewing actively, everyone.
08:55:54 <yasufum> OK, wrap up the meeting.
08:56:13 <yasufum> Bye!
08:56:17 <manpreetk> Thanks, bye!
08:56:24 <masaki-ueno> thank you, bye!
08:56:27 <ueha> thanks, bye
08:56:29 <takahashi-tsc> thanks!
08:56:29 <h_asahina> bye
