Now, we propose to enhance tacker testing by adding more tacker testcases in OSH pipeline. 08:05:22 <shivam> We discussed the same proposal in Tacker PTG and there a community member raised a concern "whether the OSH test code also needs to be modified when the FT of Tacker is changed, as managing two identical codes would become complex." 08:06:03 <shivam> This discussion is related to that concern. To answer the question, we will be using openstack CLI to perform tacker testing in openstack-helm pipeline hence, modifications in tests in OSH will not be required even if FT of tacker are changed. 08:06:58 <shivam> Other projects such as Barbican, Nova and Heat also use the same approach for testing in OSH. For example, Barbican uses "_barbican-test.sh.tpl" test script to perform testing. https://github.com/openstack/openstack-helm/blob/master/barbican/templates/bin/_barbican-test.sh.tpl 08:07:28 <shivam> Hence, we are planning to create similar test script as Barbican for testing tacker deployment in OSH. 08:07:50 <shivam> I would like to know the opinion of community members on our policy. 08:08:45 <yasufum> Thanks. 08:10:08 <yasufum> I don't catch up the template of barbican yet, but LGTM. 08:10:14 <yasufum> for your proposal. 08:11:02 <shivam> Thanks 08:11:08 <takahashi-tsc> Yes, in conclusion we do not have any concern on OSH pipeline work so far. 08:12:19 <yasufum> yeah 08:13:58 <yasufum> Is there any other comment, or close meeting if you have no items other than on the etherpad? 08:14:54 <yasufum> good 08:15:05 <yasufum> So, let's close this meeting. 08:15:10 <yasufum> Thanks for joining, bye! 08:15:15 <takahashi-tsc> thanks 08:15:18 <shivam> Thanks all 08:15:24 <yasufum> #endmeeting
