| @clarkb:matrix.org | etherpad 2.7.3 has been released so I dropped the 2.7.2 hold and am replacing it with 2.7.3. There are a bunch of config related changes which I've captured in the diff and made some assumptions/choices about. Feel free to suggest alternative choices in that update | 15:39 |

| @clarkb:matrix.org | this is fun. I've got a json error in my etherpad config file update. but since it isn't real json (there are comments) I can't just python3 -m json.tool to debug it | 16:43 |

| @clarkb:matrix.org | infra-root the smaller backup host is at 90% disk capacity now. I think we haev a few days before pruning that becomes urgent. Did anyone else want to do that? Process is documented here: https://docs.opendev.org/opendev/system-config/latest/sysadmin.html#managing-backup-storage otherwise I'll plan to do that tomorrow | 19:46 |

| @clarkb:matrix.org | great I think the last major piece there is the mirror content. But I kinda selfishly want to wait for fungi to return before we do that since fungi has done a lot of the mirror afs stuff recently | 20:16 |
| @mordred:waterwanders.com | Clark: do we have a way to have gerrit users that are not in Registered Users ? | 22:51 |
| @mordred:waterwanders.com | mostly pondering about belt-and-suspenders for the hermes-agent plugin. the plugin itself has a whitelist-only approach that requires explicit opt-in in the config to send comments to a given project. but ... if there is a bug that fails open, there would be nothing gerrit-side that would prevent spamming other projects. (and this has been working fine in the openclaw plugin - it's not that hard to get opt-in pattern matching right it turns out) | 22:55 |
| @clarkb:matrix.org | mordred: no as far as I know registered users is a built in group that includes all users on the system | 23:18 |
| @clarkb:matrix.org | mordred: fwiw we have a similar problem with third party ci systems and we've mostly dealt with that by disabling unruly accounts | 23:19 |
| @mordred:waterwanders.com | Clark: ++ yeah - I thought that was the case, but thought I'd double-check just to make sure | 23:21 |
