rh-jelabarreis there a version of rally-openstack (installing with pip install rally-openstack==<version>) that will work with PyYAML v3.10?  That's the version on RHEL 7.6, and I don't want to start forcing in newer package versions, since I specifically need to test against RHEL as it would be on a regular install15:18

rh-jelabarreOK, so I want to find what dependencies the rally-openstack has.  Pip seems to ONLY have a way to check dependencies on packages already installed, which is useless if you can't install a package due to dependencies16:01

rh-jelabarreactually, looks like I can't use the pip install of rally-openstack anyway, because it says my versions of diskimage-builder and os-apply-config are incompatible.16:18

rh-jelabarrethe 'install_rally.sh' script from the Rally GitHub site has even more incompatibilities16:25
rh-jelabarreso still back to why, when the overcloud env variables are set, do I still get "There is no Platform plugin with name: 'existing@openstack'" when I run rally deployment create --fromenv --name=existing16:30

rh-jelabarreI've spent days on goohgle searches on this, ind it keeps coming back to installing rally-openstack with pip, which I cannot do because it complains of incompatibilities.  If I do a '--no-dep' on it then it installs, but then I hit some indeterminate number of missing dependencies (not the ones it had incompatibility with , I think), but who knows just HOW many cycles I'd have to go through with trying to run it,17:53
rh-jelabarreget a missing dep, install that, run it again to get the next missing dep, on & on.  Isn't there a simple list of the dependencies for rally-openstack in one place so I can (maybe) fix them ahead of time?17:53
