KiwiMartinI've just run the devstack script (nice script, btw), and when I'm stepping around in horizon, on some pages I get an exception "unexpected keyword argument 'api_key'". If I read the code it would appear to be because the glance code common.BaseClient doesn't have this as an argument. I'm wondering in what direction the changes are going: glance will be made to match horizon, or horizon will be made to match glance? Thanks01:38

doude_Hi all, I try to use block migration with Diablo release and Libvirt/KVM driver.10:27

Raziqueow f**10:29
Raziquedoesn't seem a low-level issue at that point10:29

doude_it didn't ask keystone10:30
Raziqueis the pipeline into api-paste.ini10:31
Raziquei mean does nova use Keystone ?10:31
doude_Yes nova use keystone10:31
doude_evrything works fine (boot, terminate, snap, ...) with keystone10:31
doude_In line 1872 of nova/virt/libvirt/, the compute ask the auth manager to get the user with id user attach to an image10:32
doude_So the auth manager should ask keystone to the user context instead it try to get user context from the db10:33

zaitcevI'm having a trouble getting Swift to work. The key problem seems this:19:13
zaitcevNov 18 02:00:27 kvm-rei account-server - - [18/Nov/2011:07:00:27 +0000] "PUT /vdc/236930/AUTH_system" 507 - "-" "-" "-" 0.0015 ""19:13
phschwartzRazique: ok, I have my fixed_ips list cleared out.19:14
zaitcevThis is swift 1.4.3, using tempauth. The tempauth middleware produces these requests and then bails out.19:14

dolphmi had to dist-upgrade an 11.04 image, which may have been a problem19:41
Kialllol, maybe .. and in oneiric, apt-add-repo does have a -y19:41

viddfor some reason i cant get keystone to work in my script with anything but euca =]19:43
dolphmKiall: strange, it only had two options... -h and -r19:43
dolphmupgrade must have gone wrong -- i'll try again by monday19:43
KiallAh well ;)19:43
KiallI've tested my scipts in a clean VM, they seem to work well..19:43
viddKiall, on thing about your scripts that really rubs me wrong is the "use root for database"19:44
Kiallvidd: they are not intended to do everything for you!19:45
viddsecurity dictates that each app have its own databse, its own username and its own password19:45
Kialleg They dont setup firewall rules...19:45
viddand root should never be used by any app19:45
viddnot even in testing19:45
KiallHence, I prefer to leave that to the end user and go for a simple "look ma, it works and I haven't flooded my /usr/local with crap!" ;)19:45

vidd=] yep >>adding to my basics instal script19:51
rmkMaybe a stupid question -- what's the best way to store raw images compressed?19:51
Kialleg .. $ pwgen --symbols 50 1 .. phie4ithai4AYe6gea9aeMaW'oohoo2aip6ohcie[R"a?liequ19:52
rmkThe overhead of converting from qcow2 to raw on instance start sort of blows.19:52
Kiallrmk: really? I barely notice anything at all..19:52
rmkYou won't notice until you have a big fat windows image. :)19:52
rmkIf you can avoid that, all the better.19:53
