journeemanI am actually doing a test setup of Openstack on a machine. More or less following the openstack-compute starter guide (http://goo.gl/UnR4Y). I have 2 servers (Ubuntu VMs using KVM themselves); server1 runs the whole stack while server2 runs only nova-compute. `euca-describe-availability-zones verbose' shows only services running on server1. Neither server1 nor server2 nova-compute logs show any e06:53

corXiduerF: Not sure if it's related, but when we updated last week, turned out all passwords are now being hashed instead of store plain text in the DB. changing the password using the nova commandline tools stores the password in a hashed way, and fixed it....
