deagleHost is virtual. I managed to fix all routing issues between external corp network and VM guests with floating IPs. We can "see" each other OK10:44
deagleAfter I snapshotted and left host in power off for a day, after reboot I have an error from OVS plugin Bridge br-eth1 for physical network physnet1 does not exist. I reboot again and its gone10:46
deagleBut after that I can access VMs floating IPs from Host only. Public vGW ip became unaccessible from ext net. But I found 0 changes in configs and routes since snapshot!10:47

strife25hi all, I am writing a client against openstack and needed some clarification that I couldn't find in the doc. When I try to delete an instance, does that instance enter in a DELETED state (i.e. marked for removal/deletion from openstack) and then eventually gets completely deleted from the openstack infrastructure and db, or does it just get completely removed and hidden from the user?13:21
larsksstrife25: The instance is never removed from the database.  It will stay in the datbase with vm_state=deleted.13:22
larsksThe nova utilities (e.g., "nova show <uuid>") will not display information about a deleted instance.13:23
