aviator | Hello - The doc here https://docs.openstack.org/devstack/latest/ recommends using ubuntu 22.x (Jammy) for devstack. Is this still the case or is 24.x supported? | 06:09 |

frickler | aviator: the recommendation for now is still to use Jammy, although Noble is supported. note that Ubuntu doesn't have major/minor release versioning, so 22.x or 24.x doesn't make sense, the only LTS releases are 22.04 and 24.04 (plus then updates like 22.04.1 etc.) | 06:24 |

zduniuszRM | Hi, recently I got my Dell PowerEdge server for a homelab. | 22:28 |
zduniuszRM | When doing research about what OS to put onto it, I've stumbled upon openstack but I'm not sure if it's a got fit | 22:29 |
zduniuszRM | *good | 22:29 |
zduniuszRM | Since openstack works best when deployed on different nodes I'm not sure if running it on one server is a valid usecase | 22:31 |
