| @g.delgaudio:matrix.org | I ran some tests with the commands and the patch package deployment seems to be working. Just two notes: the only way I found to perform the upgrades is by specifying the package version incrementally, indicating the transition from version 24.9.0 to 24.9.1. The previous patching system did not require this procedure. Another point is that, in order to distribute a new version (patch) on the edge, it seems it must first be installed on the central cloud and then propagated to the edge. For now, I’ve installed the new packages manually using the commands (software deploy start, software deploy host -f, etc.). In the coming days, I’ll try out the orchestration features from the GUI. | 10:40 |

| @ildikov:matrix.org | I was also pointed at some documentation on the TSC & Community call this morning. The updates and upgrades commands are detailed here: https://docs.starlingx.io/updates/kubernetes/index-updates-kub-03d4d10fa0be.html#host-software-deployment | 20:55 |
