| For context, yesterday I tried to find who to contact about Glean. I went to OFTC IRC on #openstack-dev but couldn't really get much out of that. The reason why I went about it is because I noticed an issue while trying to deploy IPA with a bond network configuration as part of our development with Metal³ Baremetal Operator. I noted that Kreger discouraged the use of cloud-init here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ironic-python-agent-builder/+bug/2133509 I presume this is why IPA ships with the simple-init element and explicitly disables cloud-init related functionality. | ||

One of the things the linked patch doesn't change is that the failure case is not tested for, which I noted yesterday by changing glean/glean/tests/fixtures/liberty/sys/class/net/eth0/address value to one that's a bond in the network configuration. | 10:26 |
